upcycled/recycled skirt

I am not one for sewing, but I really wanted a skirt like this so the machine came out. I brought a denimn skirt and a skirt that was 6 sizes too big for me. But I loved the material. I got them from the RED CROSS. Altered them both and came up with this. I love it.

Great job Zoe and so glad you're pleased with it!

Nothing will stop you now, you wont be able to step into a charity shop without seeing things and thinking 'Ohh I could use that for this and this for that...' Well I can't anyway!

Challenge now is to do something creative with the bits you had left over!?

Very cute!! I have quite a few pairs of jeans I'd like to make into skirts. Sewing machine doesn't work properly though. :-(

Great looking skirt, nice to see two items rescued and reused.
