Spinning Knitting and Feeling fed up!

My blog as been very lonely, I haven't crafted for ages. WHY? Well, do you ever get that feeling, where every creative inch of you has been sucked out by life? Well, thats me at the minute. I am desperate to shake off this negative feeling, but just can't. Hence, I have had nothing to blog about. I am going to have a look round your blogs to see what you have been up too. Its not just crafts its life!

Any idea of how I am going to get out of this would be great.

hi Zoe nice to hear from you, there's been quite a few of us that have felt like that too, especially me, I've found that joining in a couple of swaps have really a difference as your not just making for makings sake but crafting something special that you know the person its for will appreciate. I've just joined the good enough to eat swap fron em's shabby shack and if you fancy it why not come and join us!!! take care and don't forget we're here to support you even when you're feeling down..
ps some of the blogs that i follow have been doing 100 things that make me smile etc, or think of one postive thing each day
i hope this all helps and sorry for wittering on and on and on....

Yes, that feeling hits me several times a year. I read, I do other things and then I do a silly little project and sometimes it pulls me out. I call it "creative slump".

Hey, hope you're feeling crafty again soon. Sometimes you just need a little break.
I knit to relax. If I put pressure on myself with deadlines and such it make it no fun so I don't want to do it.
Maybe that's what happened. Pursue some other activities for a while and hopefully some pretty fiber will catch your eye soon.

I wondered what was happening. I do hope you get that crafty buzz back again. I thought your work was lovely. It can be disheartening when your handiwork is compared directly to machine made mass produced stuff. But do keep on I love seeing what you come up with.
